Gail Atkins is a name that has been synonymous with success in real estate for more than 36 years. Her leadership, integrity, dedication and commitment to excellence has kept her among the most sought after real estate professionals in the Richmond area.
She began her real estate career with Century 21, Old Dominion Realty in 1983, where she was recognized as Agent of the Year in 1986.
She later joined Richmond Homes Realty, a subsidiary of new homes builders Richmond Homes, Incorporated. As a site agent for many of the new homes subdivisions for Richmond Homes, Incorporated, Gail was able to hone her skills in new homes sales.
Throughout her real estate career, Gail has had the opportunity to be associated with some of the leading brokerage firms in the Richmond area. In addition, Gail established her own brokerage firm - Gail Atkins Real Estate, Inc. And after her firm merged with Bowers, Nelms & Fonville, Inc Realtors in 1995, she became the managing broker for Bowers, Nelms & Fonville, Inc. Realtors-Laburnum Office. She has also managed new homes subdivisions for several Richmond area builders (Lifestyle Builders & Developers, Tingley Construction and CraftMaster Homes).
Gail has been consistently recognized as a Distinguished Achiever by the Richmond Association of Realtors. She has also been recognized by the Homebuilders’ Association of Richmond for her outstanding production in New Home sales.
In addition to being a licensed real estate broker, Gail is an Accredited Buyers’ Representative (ABR), Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS), Certified Site Agent (CSA), Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS).
